1)How much does it cost to reserve a domain name?
No fee is charged for reserving a domain name via the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA)'s BizFile system (www.bizfile.gov.sg). To use the domain name, however, your customer can go through you to "activate" the reserved domain name with WebNIC. For domain reserved after 28 December 2009, your customer can enjoy FREE for the first 2 year registration.
2)How do my customer reserve a domain name?
Your customer can now easily reserve a domain name (ending with ".com.sg" or ".sg") at the same time when they register a business, company or limited liability partnership in Singapore, electronically with ACRA via its BizFile system.
Upon successfully registering and paying for the business/company registration at the BizFile system, your customer will be immediately shown the option for reserving a domain name. To reserve a domain name:
i. First check if the domain name (ending with ".com.sg" or ".sg") user want is still available for use.
ii. If it is still available, your customer will need to provide their name, contact number and email address to confirm the reservation request. SGNIC will use this information to contact your customer should SGNIC require any clarifications.
Once your customer has successfully reserved their domain name at the BizFile system, your customer will need to "activate" the domain name with WebNIC through you as WebNIC reseller.

5) How long will the domain name be reserved?
The domain name will be reserved for a period of three months. Your customer may approach you as WebNIC reseller during this period to activate their reserved domain name.
6) What happens after the reservation period?
If reservation period has ended and your customer has not activated the reserved domain name, that domain name will be available for registration/reservation by any party.
If your customer wish to, he or she can still approach you as WebNIC reseller to register for the same domain name (if it is still available) or a new domain name.
7)If my customer has forgotten whether their reservation period has ended. What should I do?

The reservation period will end three months from the "Creation Date". Alternatively, you may approach WebNIC to find out if the reservation period for your customer's domain name has ended.
