did not renew the domain name before its expiry date, it
will be suspended after expired and fallen into 30 days
of renewal grace period. After approximately 33
days from expiry date, domain will be straightly deleted
and release for public re-registration.
9) Any Redemption Grace

10) How long does it
takes for a domain to release to public registration
after expired and not renew?
After a .台灣 domain was expired, it will go through
below life cycle:-
30 days renewal grace period (suspend) -- > No
Redemption grace period --> 3 days pending delete
If partners did not renew the domain name before its
expiry date, it will be suspended and fallen into 30
days of renewal grace period. Domain will be
straightly deleted approximately 33 days from the expiry
date if there has no renewal been performed and it will
be released for public re-registration.
11) Can I initiate a
registrar transfer for .台灣 domain name and how do I
initiate the transfer?
Yes, partners are allow to initiate registrar
transfer for .台灣 domain name. Please note that domain
will be extended for 1 year after completion.
Registrar transfers in of .台灣 domain name to us as the new sponsoring
registrar will be
allowed from a gateway registrar. While .台灣 domain name register under
Domestic-based registrars will not be able to transfer
to us at this moment.

Traditional version of .台灣 domain name has been registered?
A .台灣 domain name only able
to be registered using Traditional/Big5 characters, once
the Traditional version has been registered, the
Simplified version will be blocked and assigned under
same registrant.
Meanwhile, registration of a .台灣 domain name,
registry will assign the Traditional and Simplified
IDN.tw to the same registrant at the same time. Partners
