Web Solutions (Beijing) Limited (HiChina)
and Web Commerce Communications Limited
(WEBCC) reached an agreement in a Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU) to jointly further
strengthen their long-term strategic
partnerships to bring innovative technology
infrastructure to the Chinese Internet
community.
According to the MOU, WEBCC, in cooperation
with its partners SEDO GmbH and SWsoft
Inc, will assist the development of
HiChina in the areas of secondary
domain name market, Pay-Per-Click
(PPC) and innovative hosting plan
such as Virtual Private Server (VPS).
The development of secondary domain
name market and Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
is a collaboration that enables HiChina
to access the vast marketplace to
SEDO, the worldwide largest trading
platform of domain names to offer
to its customers in China. The MOU
covers HiChina intention to deploy
the leading technology and hosting
software from SWsoft, namely Plesk,
Virtuozzo, HSPcomplete and PEM, to
accelerate HiChina product innovation
and operational efficiency.
The MOU carries the investment commitment
of about Yuan Renminbi 10 million
over 5 years by HiChina to enhance
its technology development and product
portfolio to ensure greater customer
satisfaction.
In conjunction with WEBCC Hoster
Conference Beijing 2005, Mr Tim Schumacher,
CEO of SEDO GmbH, and Mr Soeren von
Varchmin, Managing Director European
and Asian Operations, SWsoft Inc,
together participated in the MOU signing
ceremony in China. Mr Stan Zhang,
CEO and President of HiChina and Mr
TK Tan, CEO of WEBCC, signed the MOU
in Beijing.
In the signing ceremony, Mr Stan
Zhang said, "China's online population
has grown rapidly in recent years,
this strategic partnership with WEBCC
enable us to create a vigorous environment
and growth in the Internet industry.

and dedicated support to propel forward
in providing variety of value added
services to the end customers globally."

Today, WEBCC has over 700 resellers
in over 30 countries.
