Registration Policy
1) All registration must follow "Internet Keyword Registration Rules"
Domain name of article 5 in http://www.cnnic.cn/html/Dir/2003/11/07/1228.htm, includes:-
a) Those that are against the basic principles prescribed in the Constitution;
b) Those jeopardize national security, leak state secrets, intend to overturn the government, or disrupt cf state integrity;
c) Those harm national honor and national interests;
d) Those instigate hostility or discrimination between different nationalities, or disrupt the national solidarity;
e) Those violate the state religion policies or propagate cult and feudal superstition;
f) Those spread rumors, disturb public order or disrupt social stability;
g) Those spread pornography, obscenity, gambling, violence, homicide, terror or instigate crimes;
h) Those insult, libel against others and infringe other people's legal rights and interests; or
i) Other contents prohibited in laws, rules and administrative regulations.
2) Prior to the keyword registration, registrant must already have an active website/URL that the Internet Keyword will be redirected/ pointed to.
3) Internet Keywords applied and applicant, URL pointed should have a close relation. For example, when applying for Internet Keyword "MOBILE", the website and page should be related with "MOBILE", and it's not permitted that Internet Keyword "MOBILE" points to website & web page that have nothing with Internet Keyword "MOBILE".
4) Internet Keyword can be composed of Chinese characters, alphabets (A-Z, a-z, no matter capitalized or not), numeric (0-9) or symbols (-,!), and cannot exceed 31 characters (each constituting element is regarded as one character).
5) It is not allowed for an applicant in bad faith to register Internet Keywords in which they have no legitimate right to use while others have.
Renewal Policy
The renewal principle of Internet Keyword is within 15 days after expiration date. If the Keyword is not renewed within this period, the Internet Keyword will be purged from the database and made available for registration to the public.

What is Internet Keyword?
Internet Keyword is a newly emerged technique for visiting network names initiated by CNNIC (China Internet Network Information Center).
